Is a 30-minute Zone 2 ride even worth doing?

While any riding is better than none, Zone 2 really rewards duration, so aim for at least 60 to 90 minutes. Your body needs time to settle in and start prioritizing fat-burning and mitochondrial growth. If you only have 30 minutes, focus on staying super disciplined with your power rather than trying to make it 'harder' to compensate for the short time.
